Episode 6 Jim Wirt

Jim Wirt Photo

Today I have an interview with producer Jim Wirt from Cleveland, Ohio.

Jim made a name for himself as a producer and engineer working with some of the best alternative rock bands of the 1990’s as an owner of 4th Street Recording in Los Angeles, California.

Jim now lives and works in Cleveland as the owner of Crushtone Studios where he keeps very busy developing new indie and emo rock acts.   Jim produces a really cool garage rock band that I like a lot called Buffalo Killers, so if you haven’t heard them yet, be sure to check them out!

I hope you enjoy hearing Jim’s interview!

Episode 5 Paul Vastola

Paul Vastola Control Room A

This week, I have an interview with engineer Paul Vastola, from Denver, Colorado.

Paul has owned and successfully operated Rocky Mountain Recorders for 26 years and counting.  This beautiful, state of the art studio complex stays very busy with audio post production work.

Over the years, Paul has amassed a vast amount of  knowledge of all things related to music production and recording.  And since it was his love of music that got him into the business in the first place, he still loves the opportunity to work with musicians whenever he gets the chance.

I hope you like hearing about Paul and his studio!
